is a traditional stone cottage in a peaceful setting reached by the single track road leading to Ardnave Point. It is situated within the RSPB Loch Gruinart Reserve, which is to the North West of Islay. It offers wonderful views over the sea loch to Killinallan sand dunes with the Paps of Jura in the distance. In the summer the fields around are carpeted with wild flowers including orchids. Many varieties of birds can also be seen from the rare chough to the sky larks and various raptors (if you are really lucky you might see an eagle). In the winter the air is filled with the sound of wild barnacle geese. The beautiful isolated beaches of Ardnave Point are less than 2 miles along the road.
The house has a lounge with an open fire, TV and double bed settee, a fully fitted dining kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, a bathroom, double bedroom and a twin bedroom. It sits in a large garden with a patio area at the back. Linen and towels are provided as well as coal and peat. Heating is provided by electric storage heaters.
